An Australian manufacturing conglomerate with A$ 2 billion annual revenue experienced excessive production waste, down time and quality issues in their building products factories. And end-to-end review of their operations processes resulted in development and implementation of a performance measurement and continuous improvement program, which included integrated planning, scheduling, execution, reporting and problem solving procedures. Resulting quality improvements, elimination of excessive waste downtime and scrap achieved sustainably productivity improvements exceeding 15%
