An American based global food processing business with U$ 14 billion annual revenue experienced low returns on their manufacturing assets. A review of manufacturing operations resulted in development of an operational excellence program design to improve productivity and increase output through improved planning, scheduling, execution and process improvement. Resulting productivity improvement improved asset utlisation by 20-30% and return on assets by 50%.
